What to expect this year
Special Education
Parents of students in special education can expect an annual IEP meeting each year and progress notes at the end of each trimester. In early May, students in our Autistic Support classes participate in a Special Olympics event at Downingtown West High School. Parent participation is HIGHLY encouraged!
Clearances - Good for 5 years
To visit our building or attend classroom events, visitors are required to have 2 clearances on file at the school. A PA State Background check and a Child Abuse clearance. Both of those certifications can be requested using the links below. Please forward your certificates to DBean@dasd.org
*To chaperone a field trip you must have the 2 above clearances AND a negative Tuberculosis test on file.
