DASD Library Mission Statement The mission of the library program in the Downingtown Area School District is to provide a dynamic learning environment that instills essential 21st century literacy skills through direct and collaborative instruction and the use of a wide variety of print and digital resources. Our goal is to ensure that students have the opportunity to become inquiring and engaged global citizens who are empowered to be critical thinkers, enthusiastic readers, skillful researchers, and ethical users of information.

The Bradford Heights Library and the Bradford Heights HSA hope to encourage and foster students' love of reading by sponsoring a year long reading program, the Bulldog Book Club.
Students can return completed sheets to the BH Library for fun prizes and a chance to earn extra book checkouts. Bulldog Book Club medals will then be awarded at the end of the school year to all students who have read at least 100 books!
